'The 'New' Press 6 at Mifa

Over the past year, tremendous effort has been made by all our colleagues and partners to minimize the impact of last August’s fire on our customers. The affected production halls from last year have been rebuilt, and the large extrusion press has been restored and significantly improved.

On Friday, July 5, 2019, we officially opened the renovated production halls and extrusion press with a spectacular laser show about Mifa.

 

‘New’ Press 6

In August, trial pressings took place on the greatly improved ‘new’ Press 6. These trial pressings and tests proceeded smoothly, and as of now, the first production billets are being pressed.

Within one year after the fire, all presses are now fully back in production, and we have made substantial investments in other areas to meet the demands of the market.
