Part 2: Steel structure marks the next phase in Mifa Aluminium’s largest-ever investment

Our route to further expansion – part 2

With the installation of the steel structure, we have reached another important milestone in the realisation of the Mifa Surface Treatment expansion. The work now marks a visible turning point in the largest investment in Mifa’s history.

A visible turning point in the project

While the past few months have focused mainly on earthworks, foundations and underground infrastructure, the site is now literally taking shape. With the steel structure is taking shape, the outlines of the new building are becoming visible, providing the first clear impression of the scale of the project and the ultimate size of the expansion.

“This is a truly special moment for everyone involved in the project. Until now, you could only see the preparatory work taking place. With the steel structure, you can see a building taking shape, making it clear just how significant this investment is and what it will mean for the future of Mifa.’’ – Jurgen van den Beuken, Technical Infrastructure & Installations Manager Mifa

Building the future of Mifa as part of Aalberts

The expansion is part of Mifa’s long-term strategy to support further growth and prepare the organisation for the future. With additional space for production, logistics and technical installations, the company is creating the capacity needed to support future developments within the organisation.

Being a part of Aalberts, our parent company, makes it possible to further invest in mission-critical technologies. In today’s market conditions, this is an increasingly important assurance.

Over the coming months, the building will become increasingly visible. With each new phase of construction, we take another step towards the continued professionalisation of the company.
