Growth and developments at Mifa in 2023
After a period of various restrictions due to Covid and despite all the challenges happening in the world, our motivation was high to meet our customer’s demands as much as possible.
Developments of the Past Year
We haven’t been idle. In anticipation of a fresh start, Mifa-ST’s office building has been completely renovated. Thanks to this beautiful building, our employees can work in better facilities, and we can welcome our customers here, offering an even better service.
We also had the opportunity to showcase our precision at trade shows and to our customers. After a few years where communication took on a new meaning, we were able to travel the world again. With our international customer base, we could visit our clients and attend various trade shows. Keep an eye on our channels for the upcoming events in 2023.
Last November, the annual audit took place where we once again verified our quality. We successfully retained the AS 9100 quality certification for supplying to the aviation and aerospace industry. Additionally, in October, we obtained the ISO 14001 environmental certificate. What was previously applicable only to Mifa Surface Treatment now applies to the entire Mifa. We at Mifa are incredibly proud of these achievements.
We have also been active in sustainability. In addition to further greening our production, we can help customers reduce their footprint with our thin-walled extrusion profiles. A New, More Precise Year
In the past year, we worked on a technical masterpiece: an additional extrusion press for smaller dimensions. This is the fifth press in its family at Mifa. This press will enable us to further develop precision profiles. We are in the final stages of the testing phase, and soon we will enter the production phase.
We strive for continuous improvement. Through a new Academy manager, we are expanding and enhancing our internal training program. This will benefit not only our current colleagues but also our new employees. Mifa continues to grow, and our workforce has increased by more than approximately 12%. Personal development and engagement are central to this.
Not only is our workforce and production expanding, but we are also working on a logistics plan to realize our future growth, supported by the right technologies in the broadest sense of the word. Here, we are pooling all our efforts to achieve a beautiful end product together.
