How can you optimize your machinery? Precision extrusion and good surface quality are vital to the smooth operation of machinery. Precision extrusion offers many advantages.
The biggest: the enormous amount of freedom in construction. Asymmetrical shapes are no problem, just like varying and very thin walls. Even the most complicated constructions are possible. And the fact that we can work so precisely does away with the need for post-processing.
Surface treatments make all the difference
Hard anodizing, chemical nickel-planting, chrome-plating, coating: Mifa has all conceivable surface treatments in-house. They protect against corrosion, reduce wear, improve conductivity, reduce friction and improve the product's appearance. At Mifa, surface treatment is more than the finishing touch. Surface treatment can make all the difference to your machinery.

- Machinery in the textile, food and tobacco industries
- Machinery in the paper and packaging industry
If you involve us at an early stage of the design process you'll experience all the freedom of design our technology has to offer.
Aluminium and magnesium profiles for mechanical engineering
EN-755-9 and EN-12020-2 are the accepted standards for the extrusion of aluminium profiles. They permit deviations of ±0.15 mm or more. Mifa far surpasses these standards, performing precision extrusion within tolerances as exacting as 0.02 mm. This gives engineers and builders unprecedented ways of optimizing machinery.

Engineering profiles call for alignment between extrusion, machining and surface treatment.
Mifa delivers small (>10 kg) to very large series. Over the years, we have developed to become an efficient processor of highly accurate and complex profiles for the mechanical engineering sector. With our knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering, we know what works and what doesn't. This enables us to make significant improvements to engineering components. Our approach to coordinating the extrusion process, processing, and surface treatment is a very important aspect in this regard. If the extrusion can be produced accurately from the start, we save considerable machining time. Experience has taught us which minimum wall thicknesses are needed for extrusion profiles when machining various materials. We'll be pleased to share this knowledge with you.
Quality and documents: AS 9100
Mifa produces high-quality extrusion profiles. We do this not only through process control, but also strict product control. We hold the AS 9100 quality certificate for the aerospace industry. Mifa is a division of the listed Aalberts.
