2020 in retrospect

With the end of 2020 in sight, we look back on a very challenging year. COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact worldwide on business and personal level.

In January, everyone looked forward to a new year and our 45th anniversary. We had great plans to celebrate with our employees, customers and suppliers. However, COVID-19 decided differently and we had to adapt - just like everyone else - to a new reality.

Dealing with a new reality and rules

We have adapted our business to the best of our possible conditions.Employees worked at home where possible or adapted well to the new rules in production. Due to these appropriate measures, we were able to keep our production running and continue to deliver our orders at all times.

We have supported many customers by keeping products longer in stock, delivering orders at a later desired date and also delivering in smaller quantities. Our internal focus this year has been on our delivery performance and the further improvement of our quality. We are proud to announce that both have increased significantly. Thanks to the capacity expansions of the past few years, our lead times have also been considerably reduced.

Beautiful new projects

Despite the difficult circumstances, we have been able to realize very beautiful and challenging projects together with our customers from various markets. Projects where we can really make a difference for these customers! Where they can see that the combination of co-engineering, precision extrusion, machining, surface treatment and assembly in-house is very important. Because of this knowledge and the production possibilities at Mifa, we can realize the best profile or product for you in small and very large numbers.

2020 in retrospect, I am very proud to say that, despite the very difficult circumstances, we have performed well. Regardless of the challenging circumstances, we worked hard as one team. We are confident that 2021 will provide us with plenty of opportunities to grow and that the economy will recover. We are ready to help you in the best possible way and as long as visits are still difficult, you can easily speak to one of our employees through the online tools and even view our factory online

On behalf of all Mifa employees, I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
