The extrusion of a profile starts on-site at Mifa, where we sit down with the client at the drawing board – the client's expertise and Mifa's extrusion expertise complement each other to achieve an optimal design.
Cores or holes. They can be necessary for the profile’s function, or useful for reducing the weight. Mifa excels at extruding complex profiles with many small cores. These cores can have a cross-section measuring from 0.5 millimetres, and our customers benefit from this.
Anodizing aluminium profiles means growing a protective oxide layer. The anodizing process steps are as follows: profiles are placed in an immersion bath containing sulphuric or chromic acid, which in turn leads to advantages like an improved protection of the metal. The metal serves as an anode, which is why we call this surface treatment anodizing.
